We continue to thoroughly enjoy this apartment which must have one of the best views in Woolacombe and is so handy for Combesgate Beach. Even when weather not so good it is fascinating to see the weather approaching and changing. July 2018
This was our sixth consecutive year at this delightfully situated and well-equipped property. Holiday Home Hunter is an efficient operation which communicates well with clients and manages effectively any requirements that may arise. They are highly recommended. This area of North Devon is particularly beautiful and caters for a wide range of holiday interests. No extra charge was made for arranging the heat waves that we have enjoyed during our last two visits! Other good holiday spots are available but you will find none better. June 2018
We had a wonderful holiday in May, fabulous weather, which meant we could make full use of the terrace, using the table & chairs to eat and relax. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We never tire of Woolacombe, and always book through Holiday Home Hunter, as the standard of accommodation is always first class, and even though we didn’t need to call on Maddy, we know if there were any problems, it would be sorted out! We had another super stay in Overcombe from 22nd - 29th July (our 7th year!). The position of the apartment is superb and contributes to a lovely relaxed feeling - could sit and watch the view over Woolacombe Bay all day! I am writing on behalf of my Mom and Brother who stayed at Overcombe week of 1st October. My Mom is 85 and my brother has disability problems and we were very worried that the holiday and accommodation may have caused them problems. I am delighted to say that thanks to the wonderful service of HHH their stay was the most relaxing and enjoyable that they could have wished for. Huge thanks to our lovely Maddy for her kindness and support in allowing them access over the adjoining property and her special friendship which made them both feel comfortable and safe knowing that she and her staff were only a phone call away with nothing seeming too much trouble. The accommodation itself was perfect and is a particular favourite of theirs (mine too!). We have many happy memories of Sunnycliffe Court over the years and the area is a special location. I even chose it as my wedding venue a few years ago. We will never tire of the area and certainly will remain customers of Holiday Home Hunter for many years to come. Despite mixed weather in the first part of the week, yet again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Overcombe. The view is fantastic and it is so relaxing just to watch the changing scene towards Baggy Point and beyond. The flat is really well equipped and very comfortable. Jane, the housekeeper, was brilliant in dealing with a problem we had in the kitchen. September 2016
We stayed at Overcombe apartment for 1 week recently and we were delighted. It was very comfortable and the views from this location were excellent. Sunnycliffe Court is a very appropriate name for this location as we were able to enjoy sunshine from shortly after sunrise all the way through to sunset on clear days. Having an interest in photography and astronomy it was ideal for me and I was able to take several shots from there during our holiday. A most enjoyable stay and highly recommendable accommodation. I have attached some of the shots that I took at Overcombe and you are welcome to post any of them on your website if wish to do so. They include a shot of the sun setting over Lundy Island, a very red moon setting with reflections glimmering across the water, a shot of Woolacombe at dawn and a shot showing some sun rays (crepuscular rays) fanning out from Sun when it was behind some clouds. I also have many other shots including a Milky Way shot that I took on one clear night and solargraph images made using homemade pinhole cameras that show all the trails exposed by the sun whilst it was shining during the week that we stayed there! We had yet another fabulous stay in "Overcombe"! It is equipped with everything you need and a real home from home. The location is superb, half way between Woolacombe and Morthoe with easy access to the SW. Coast path. We shall be back again in September! August 2015
We loved the apartment. Tastefully and thoughtfully fitted and equipped e.g. the fold out table enabling meals with a view! Perfectly located for both villages and the best walks, but very peaceful and a stunning outlook to be enjoyed in all weather conditions. Highly recommended, we would definitely book again. July 2015
Accommodation was first class, the house was immaculate, well presented and furnished to a high standard. Garage and contents contained in garage very handy indeed As for the location and views from the house simply stunning best spot anywhere. First holiday with my 8 month daughter and it was simply fantastic. Local shops, pubs and cafés as ever very accommodating and welcoming Dealings with holiday home hunter as ever were first class. We will be back again next year hopefully staying in the same location. June 2015

We absolutely love it here at Overcombe! A little home from home but with spectacular views. A cosy and comfortable apartment which is remarkably well equipped with all “mod cons”. Wonderfully well equipped apartment, calming decor and very relaxing. With these views there’s hardly any need to go out, but we thoroughly recommend the steam trains at Woody bay – time has stood still. Staff are friendly. We have had the most amazing stay here at Overcombe. It is without doubt the most wonderful and relaxing place we have stayed in in Devon. The views and ambience are incredible.
